In September of 2004, Noelle travelled with a medical mission to Romania. The purpose of the mission was to provide reconstructive surgery and rehabilitation for children with birth defects there. Noelle met with them every day to teach them art and to help heal them with art therapy. The colorful murals with which she decorated their drab institutional walls will brighten and cheer future visitors to the hospital and make it a less frightening place for the children who need to come there.
